What is Ellansé?
Ellansé is an injectable dermal filler that can help reduce the appearance of deep facial lines and folds. While restoring volume to lax and sagging skin. It can create a sharper jawline definition, more sculpted cheeks, and temples, and soft facial folds.
While Ellansé is FDA-approved the filler is widely available in Asia and Europe. One 2017 study by the manufacturer says that Ellansé is safe, with long-lasting effects.
How does it work
Unlike hyaluronic acid-based fillers. Ellansé consists of polycaprolactone (PCL) microspheres, along with carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) gel. The gel delivers immediate results. While the microspheres stimulate your skin to produce more collagen, which becomes apparent after three months.
Both Ellansé and Radiesse contain CMC gel, to stimulate collagen production. However, Radiesse consists of calcium hydroxylapatite and isn’t as long-lasting.
Juvéderm differs from Ellansé because Juvederm consists of hyaluronic acid. Juvéderm lasts only up to two years, but it can be used on the lips and under the eyes.
How soon will you see the results?
After treatment, you can see the results immediately. The injections will continue to stimulate collagen production. The best results really are around three months post-treatment, when your own new, fresh collagen appears under the skin.”
How long will it last?
Ellansé lasts from one to four years, depending on the type your doctor recommends. They include Ellanse M, Ellanse L, Ellanse S, Ellanse E
